How do I order?
All orders to be emailed to email@example.com with a Purchase Order number, quantities of products required, sizes, colours, designs and associated drawings (if applicable) and delivery address. We may also need to determine delivery access at the point of order. An Order Confirmation Form will be emailed back within 24 hours of receipt of the Purchase Order.
What are the lead times?
Generally we work to a 4 week lead time, however, in the summer months of July, August and September this can be extended to 5 or even 6 weeks (depending on workload). Lead times will be confirmed in writing at the point of order.
Can I modify an existing design that I've seen on your website?
As we are true manufacturers, we can, in most instances, make alterations to sizes, heights and even tube specifications. However, in order to do this, we may require a minimum order quantity.
What RAL colours are available?
We hold over 60 different RAL colours and specialist powders in stock, and 3 different finishes;Matt (MA), Semi-gloss (SG) and Gloss (GL). We work closely with some of the country's leading powder suppliers so we are able to source virtually all RAL colours and finishes. We also have close relationships with paint suppliers in the EC who can supply us with specialist finishes.
Do you offer antibacterial/antimicrobial paint?
Yes, most of our finishes are available with this extra ingredient, however this may denote a surcharge. The requirement for a specialist finish could also affect our usual lead times.
Can I order complete tables with tops?
We work closely with our sister company Thirsk Tables and can offer a whole range of laminate and solid timber table tops. In order to reduce the risk of damage in transit we normally deliver all tops loose or on a pallet and not fixed to the table frames. It is the responsibility of the customer to fix the table tops to the frames. In certain instances where it is safe, generally on smaller items, we can fix the tops onto bases prior to transit but this would incur a surcharge.
Can you make custom designs?
A large proportion of our business focuses in manufacturing furniture to customers' own designs, whereby we are supplied with detailed technical drawings. Minimum batch quantities will usually apply for bespoke orders. We have no hesitation in consenting to NDA's, if required.
How are the frames delivered?
We have our own van, 7.5T lorry and 18T lorry - none of which are branded. All drivers are employed in-house and all vehicles fitted with tracking devices. All deliveries are one man tailgate deliveries and the customer is therefore expected to assist in the unloading. We do not offer an installation service. When table tops and frames are ordered they are delivered on the same vehicle but it is the responsibility of the customers installation team to fix the tops onto the frames on site. From experience is the best procedure to minimise any potential product damage during installation. We also have access to a reliable third party haulier with many articulated lorries if required.
Can you deliver direct to site?
We can deliver direct to site (in our non-liveried vehicles), using our customers paperwork, but this must be agreed when the purchase order is placed. This is only tailgate delivery service and our "Delivery access form" must be filled out so that delivery goes as smoothly as possible.
How much does it cost for delivery?
Delivery charges vary and are dependent on the purchase order quantity, delivery location and any specific requests. Delivery charges will be confirmed in writing at quotation stage or certainly before the placing of the purchase order. Customer are freely available to collect from our factory but will be charged if vehicles use any Tube Creation loading boards to ensure goods are securely loaded then these will be invoiced at cost (c. £25 / board).
Do you export?
We do a small amount of work for export, but minimum batch quantities do apply. Each enquiry is dealt with on an individual basis.
Do you make products for external/outdoors use?
A number of our products can be treated for external/outdoor use. The standard finish for this is a specialist pre coating of external grade powder followed by a standard polyester powder top coat. However, if the environment of use is considered harsh, i.e. a cruise ship or close to the sea (and therefore subject to the effects of sea salt), we would advise that the products are shotblasted first in order that the prime coat gets an even better adhesion to the metal. We can offer products galvanised if required although please note there is a high MOQ for galvanished frames and standard lead times will not apply (as this process is carried out by external specialists). Please note that we only work in mild steel and not stainless steel.
Do you supply to the general public or direct to the end user? - office/school/restaurant?
Unfortunately, we do not supply directly to the general public, or indeed the end-user. We only supply products to contract furniture companies.
